It was just another weekday afternoon when Pigeons Playing Ping Pong played Philadelphia's World Cafe Live, but the scene looked more like a weekend musical festival. Fans showed up in tie-dye and full-body jumpsuits. There was even a guy dressed as a wizard! Though it was just another workday, the crowd was feeling it. And they were dedicated.

Fans that make a point of following nearly every Pigeons Playing Ping Pong show are called The Flock. And for about a decade now, as the band has toured relentlessly, The Flock has been getting bigger and bigger. The band's fifth album, Presto, works to capture the group's fun, funky and psychedelic live show. Today Pigeons Playing Ping Pong's singer Greg Ormont and drummer Alex Petropulos join me to talk about that record. But first, you need to hear the band live.
