Frozen Flames are valuable resources needed to level up Kratos' Leviathan Axe in God of War Ragnarok. Here's where you can find them.

2018's God of War reason stood out for many reasons. One of those reasons was Kratos Leviathan Axe and how satisfying it felt to use and throw in the game compared to a lot of other melee weapons in modern AAA titles. 

Of course, The Leviathan Axe had an upgrade tree as well, and this is also the case in God of War Ragnarok. To upgrade the Leviathan Axe, players will require an extremely rare resource called Frozen Flames. Below you will find the locations of all the Frozen Flames in God of War Ragnarok. 

All Frozen Flames locations in God of War Ragnarok

You can acquire Frozen Flames in God of War Ragnarok by completing certain story quests, favors, and defeating bosses in God of War Ragnarok. 

• Frozen Flame 1 location: Acquired after defeating The Huntress during the main quest, 'Surviving Fimbulwinter.'
• Frozen Flame 2 location: Acquired after defeating Alva in Alfheim during the main quest, 'Groa's Secret.'
• Frozen Flame 3 location: Acquired after freeing Freya in Vanaheim during the main quest, 'The Reckoning.'
• Frozen Flame 4 location: Acquired after defeating the Hel-Traveller during the main quest, 'Reunion.'
• Frozen Flame 5 location: Acquired after defeating the Flame Phantom during the main quest, 'The Summoning.'
• Frozen Flame 6 location: Acquired after defeating The Crimson Dread dragon in the Favor, 'For Vanaheim! in Vanaheim.'
