Get ready to witness the ultimate showdown as the biggest names in Fortnite converge for the highly anticipated FNCS Major 1 tournament. This is the first of four Majors on the Fortnite esports calendar in 2023, where legends are made and teams race to prove their mettle ahead of the Champion Series Global Championship 2023 in Denmark later this year.
With a total prize pool of $10 million spread across the Majors, the competition will be fierce as duos battle it to earn a spot. Fortnite FNCS Major 1 (2023) - How To Watch Streams

Fortnite FNCS Major 1 (2023) - Schedule and Format
The FNCS Major 1 is a five-week duos format tournament that begins on 2 February 2023, featuring eligible players who earned Elite Division in Chapter 4 Season 1. Scores from the FNCS Major Weekly Competition on Thursday and Friday will be combined throughout the weekly sessions. For the weekly finals, the top 50 duos from each region will advance. At the end of the third week, the top 40 duos on the Series Leaderboard will move on to the Grand Finals.
The duos who finish in positions 41 through 90 on the Overall Leaderboard will move on to the Surge Week for an additional opportunity to qualify for the Grand Finals. The Grand Finals will have a $2 million prize pool and will be held in March 2023, with the best duo from each region advancing to the FNCS Global Championship 2023 in Denmark. The FNCS Last Chance Major is the final opportunity to qualify for the FNCS Global Championship 2023 and will take place on 24-27 August 2023. The top 250 duos in Round 1 will advance to Round 2.

Fortnite FNCS Major 1 (2023) - Prize Pool
Teams placing 1st (and 2nd in Europe Regionals) at the end of Stage 4 for FNCS Major 1 in the Grand Finals Leaderboards will advance to the FNCS Global Championship. In addition, a shared prize pool of $2.1 million is split between Europe, North America (East and West), Brazil, Asia, the Middle East, and Oceania. These prizes will be awarded to each team based on its placement within the Leaderboard at the end of the Grand Finals Day 2 session.
