The Master difficulty has arrived at the King’s Fall Raid in Destiny 2. You’ll reach the halfway point of the raid when you encounter Golgoroth, a nasty ogre with an incredibly powerful gaze. It’s a challenging encounter and even more difficult if you try to complete the secret challenge, Gaze Amaze. Many players might be working on this to earn the Kingslayer title. This guide covers how to complete the Golgoroth challenge in King’s Fall Raid in Destiny 2.

How to complete the Gaze Amaze Challenge

When attempting to complete the Gaze Amaze challenge, the way to do this is a player must stand in the Pool of Reclaimed light when a teammate steals their buff, and the two of them swap between Golgoroth’s gaze. Compared to the other challenges in the Master’s difficulty of King’s Fall, it’s one of the easier ones to complete. All you have to do is jump into the pool alongside your teammates damaging Golgoroth right before your other teammate takes Golgoroth’s gaze from you. You will need to do this every time you have the buff.

The primary difficulty of this challenge is enduring Golgoroth’s impressive gaze alongside your teammates and making sure you reach the Pool of Reclaimed light in time. A good way to do this is to find a proper checkpoint in Golgoroth’s gaze time that gives you enough wiggle room to reach the pool at the bottom of the arena and to know your team’s position. Your teammates will move around on the floor, switching pool locations.

The most communication on your team will likely happen between your tanks enduring GolgGolgoroth’se, though. Make sure to keep track of Golgoroth’s gaze timer, or you’ll find yourself back at the start and have to try again.
