An image of a fan’s tattoo of Wednesday Addams has gone viral, as some people online suggest the image bore a closer resemblance to that of actor Samuel L. Jackson than the star of the Netflix hit, Jenna Ortega.
The image garnered millions of views on Twitter, as a number of users had twists on how the ink turned out with comments, GIFs and memes.
‘Welp, this was supposed to be Wednesday Addams but looks more like Samuel L Jackson as a kid… lol #HappyNewYear Squad,’ one user wrote, while another wrote, ‘SAY WEDNESDAY AGAIN.’
‘That’s Monday Morning’: An image of a fan’s tattoo of Wednesday Addams has gone viral, as some people online suggest the image bore a closer resemblance to that of actor Samuel L. Jackson, 74, than the star of the Netflix hit, Jenna Ortega, 20

One user wrote, ‘not Wednesday L. Jackson,’ while another person said, ‘When you get a pre-production tattoo of Wednesday Addams, after hearing Samuel L. Jackson is being considered for the lead.’
Another user commented, ‘That’s “Monday morning” Adams after a long weekend out.’
Some people disagreed that the image resembled the Oscar-nominated actor, 74, saying instead that the tattoo looked more like West African comedian Grand M.
‘I still don’t see how this resembles Jackson, more of like that comedian kid,’ one wrote, while others shared images of Grand M.
Reactions: Some people said the image resembled Jackson, 74, while others said it resembled West African comedian Grand M
Addition: One user superimposed the Wednesday Addams hairdo onto Grand M’s head

The hype surrounding the tattoo comes weeks after the Netflix show broke a Nielsen record by becoming the series with the second biggest streaming week of all-time, according to the Top 10 chart.
The Addams family spin-off staring Jenna Ortega accumulated nearly 6 billion minutes of viewership during its premiere week.
The viewing window spanned from November 21 to November 27 and, impressively, Wednesday was only available for the last five of the seven days.
Humor: One user posted a popular meme to depict the tattoo artist’s struggle with the task

The show premiered on November 23 and became an instant hit.
Remaining in Nielsen’s top spot is the July premiere week for the first half of Stranger Things season four.
It was watched for 7.2 billion minutes, but, unlike Wednesday, the show was available to stream for all seven days.
According to Variety, Wednesday is expected to surpass its own streaming record once the data for the upcoming chart is available.
This is because the minutes will reflect its first full week of availability versus just five days.

Wednesday’s record-breaking Nielsen numbers come soon after Netflix revealed that the series had become its second most popular English-language TV series of all time.
It has overtaken Dahmer- Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story for the second place spot, according to Variety.
The Tim Burton directed series is now also the third program on the platform to have garnered over a billion hours viewed within a month. Squid Game and Stranger Things 4 remain the only two other programs to have achieved this distinction.

Rankings on the Most Popular list are determined by the number of hours a title garners within its first 28 days on the platform.
The Evan Peters led series achieved 856.2 million hours in its first 28 days, whereas Wednesday still has another week to reach even more viewers.
It does appear unlikely that Wednesday will beat Stranger Things 4 in the English-language TV show ranking with Wednesday needing some catching up to meet the sci-fi series.
Stranger Things 4 also runs over the course of 13 hours, while Wednesday clocks in at a total of 6.8 hours.
Wednesday, however, has been watched by more households than Stranger Things in its first 28 days. Already, 150 million households have tuned into Wednesday.

The series has also beaten the newly-released documentary Harry & Meghan in terms of viewership rankings.
That docu-series landed in second on Netflix’s weekly rankings with 81.6 million hours logged within four days since its December 8 premiere.
It is Netflix’s biggest documentary debut of all time.

In a recent interview, Jenna revealed she did not seek advice from Christina on how to play the character.
‘Our show has super powers and outcasts and evil ghost pilgrims,’ Jenna said in an MTV News interview with co-star Emma Myers, who plays her roommate, Enid.
‘I think when [Christina] was on set, neither one of us said “Wednesday” once to each other,’ Jenna explained.

‘I don’t think she wanted to get in the way of my performance and feel like she was overbearing,’ adding, ‘They’re two very different people, our Wednesdays.’
Christina has gone on to do a variety of projects in the three decades since she played Wednesday and Jenna said she didn’t think it would be polite to bring up the topic.
‘I felt like I didn’t want to pull up something that she did 30 years ago.’
‘For the sake of my own benefit.. I didn’t want to rip her off and I didn’t want to be too much like her.’

The streaming show is a crime thriller that takes place at the Nevermore Academy, a boarding school for outcasts such as sirens, werewolves and gorgons.
Wednesday is sent there against her will, and ends up trying to solve a string of murders that have taken place near the school.
Christina stars as a ‘normie’ member of the faculty and house mom for Wednesday’s dorm.
Sharing the small screen with Jenna and Christina are Catherine Zeta-Jones and Luis Guzman as Morticia and Gomez Addams. Gwendoline Christie stars as Nevemore’s head mistress.
